IBIN Admission policies are designed to meet the needs of adults who are interested in pursuing certificates and degrees.

  

 





 

Admission Requirements

  1. Students must be firmly committed to the Lordship of Christ, evidenced by an ongoing relationship with Him, and by a desire to mature in Him, in full obedience to His will.
  2. A copy of a high school diploma, or its equivalent for acceptance at the undergraduate level.
  3. A copy of a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent for acceptance into all levels of the graduate program.
    Please Note: Students that have less than 30 semester hours of undergraduate Biblical studies, admissions to the graduate program will be contingent upon receiving a 70% or higher score on the Logos Basic Biblical Knowledge Exam, or equivalent demonstration of Biblical competence.
  4. Original and sealed official transcripts from all previous learning institutions, including high school, sent directly to Logos.
  5. Students are to be actively involved in a local church.
  6. Admission to Immanuel’s Bible Institute of the Nations is subject to approval by the Logos Admissions Committee, whose decision is final.
 

Admission Process

To be considered for admission, all undergraduate and graduate students are required to submit the following to the Registrar’s Office of Immanuel’s Bible Institute of the Nations.

Application for Admission completed in its entirety:

  1. Cover letter stating the student’s educational and spiritual goals.
  2. Comprehensive secular and religious resume that includes education, employment, secular and religious seminars attended, church work experience, special training, etc.
  3. At the time of application, copies of transcripts from previous learning institutes can be submitted, however, before graduation, original official transcripts will be required to be sent directly to Logos.
  4. Copies of degrees, awards, certificates, etc.
  5. $40.00 non-refundable Application Fee.
  6. $20.00 non-refundable Evaluation Fee
  7. 2” x 2” snapshot

After receipt of the application package, Logos will determine proficiency to determine placement in the highest program, and provide the student with an evaluation letter outlining his/her course of study for the major he/she has chosen.

 

Transfer Students

Immanuel’s Bible Institute of the Nations (IBIN) welcomes transfer students with the desire to develop their educational goals and who wish to transfer from another college. Sealed official transcripts must be submitted directly to the IBIN’s Registrar’s office. Such transcripts must indicate courses taken, grade assigned, and semester/quarter credit hours earned. Results of aptitude and other special tests taken and evidence of standing should also be indicated on the transcript.

The transferability of credit earned at other institutions and transferred to Logos is at the discretion of Logos. The transferability of credit earned at Logos and transferred to another institution is at the discretion of the receiving institution.

 
Foreign Students

Immanuel’s Bible Institute of the Nations nor Logos Christian College is not authorized to issue I-20 Student Visas, nor does it offer housing; however, the external studies program is available provided all requirements are met.
 
Audit Students

Audit students who enroll in a course and later decide to convert the course for credit, shall submit an approved academic package no less than four (4) weeks prior to the end of the semester. Upon approval, the student shall pay the additional tuition and must submit all course assignments for a course grade to be applied to their transcript.

Undergraduate students who quality may be eligible for advanced standing through life experience credit upon completion of an examination. Life experience credit is available at the undergraduate level only. At the time of admission, students who desire advanced standing must request it in their cover letter. All information submitted for life experience must be verifiable.

The transferability of credit earned at other institutions is at the discretion of Logos. The transferability of credit earned at Logos Christian College and transferred to another institution is at the discretion of the receiving institution.
